Our company, Hamza Abbas Company, entered into a contract with the Health Committee in Manbij on August 21, 2023, based on a tender announcement for the renovation of the Central Pharmacy building in Manbij. Our company obtained the lowest price as a result of the bidding session.

The following works have been agreed upon:

– Renovation of the Central Pharmacy building in Manbij, including its refurbishment and equipping it as a public building, while providing all necessary materials, labor, experts, and engineering plans according to the technical specifications stated in the specifications book. Our company will also comply with the instructions and directives of the supervisory committee formed by the Health Committee, in collaboration with the supervisory committee formed by our company, to ensure the highest levels of quality and excellence in the execution of the works.

– After the completion of the works, delivery was made to the Health Committee in the presence of a designated committee composed of engineers and specialized technicians, within the agreed contractual period, which is ninety days.

Supply of Medical Equipment

Our company, Hamza Abbas Company, has entered into a contract with the Red Crescent on 3/1/2023 for the procurement and supply of oxygen and air lines for the medical gas network at the Oncology and Burns Hospital.

We have successfully procured and delivered the materials, meeting all the required technical specifications, within the agreed contractual timeframe of fifteen days. The delivery was conducted under the supervision of a specialized acceptance committee. We take full responsibility for any damages resulting from manufacturing defects and are committed to promptly replace any faulty materials at our own expense, should any be discovered. Furthermore, we provide a one-year warranty for all the supplied materials, guaranteeing their quality from the time of delivery.

Replacement of Main Valves for the Manbij Water Network

Our company, Hamza Abbas Company, has entered into a contract with a humanitarian organization on December 23, 2021, to undertake the replacement of the main valves for the Manbij water network. This replacement is necessary due to the expiration of their designated lifespan and their inability to fulfill their functions effectively.

Following consultation with the Manbij Water Authority, the locations of the main valves in the city were determined through detailed plans created by our team of engineers and technicians, in collaboration with the Water Authority.

The process involved excavating the sites until reaching the old valves, which were then carefully dismantled and replaced with new valves. The procurement of the new valves was carried out in accordance with the specified technical specifications, ensuring that the gate, bonnet, gate valve, driving wheel, shaft, shaft base, bonnet gasket, and flange dimensions and drilling met the required standards. The flanges were drilled to withstand either 10 or 16 pressures, depending on the specific requirements.

Thorough testing was conducted, including pressure tests, operational pressure checks, and temperature assessments, all performed in accordance with the specified standards. This rigorous testing was essential to ensure the new valves were functioning properly and free from any leaks or defects before they were covered.

Great care was taken during the covering process to ensure the valves were protected and their lifespan extended. Our team of specialized civil engineers and water engineering experts, both from our company and the partnering organization, worked diligently to deliver a high-quality result, employing their expertise to carry out precise installations and conducting thorough pressure testing to prevent any water leaks.

Rehabilitation of Al-Thawra School in Manbij

Our company, Hamza Abbas Company, has entered into a contract with an international humanitarian organization for the rehabilitation of Al-Thawra School located in Manbij. The contract has a duration of 60 days, starting on 3/7/2023 and ending on 3/9/2023. The project was executed in accordance with the required technical specifications, within the stipulated timeframe, and within the allocated budget.

The implementation of the project involved the following stages:

1-Restroom Block:

The outdated infrastructure network of the restrooms was dismantled due to ist functional inadequacy, and a new network was installed to ensure proper functionality. The construction phase involved building blocks, cutting the restrooms according to the detailed architectural plan, and carrying out interior finishing works such as tiling, painting, ceramic installation, flooring, and the installation of doors and windows. These activities were performed in line with the contract terms and the specified technical requirements. Additionally, the external walls of the block were coated with stucco and adorned with expressive colors and drawings.

1-Construction of an Annex for the School/New Classroom Group:

The construction process began with the marking of the locations for the concrete columns. The survey engineer determined the precise spots for excavating the foundation bases. Subsequently, the foundation bases were excavated, and cleanliness concrete was poured. Reinforcement works were then completed for the foundations, beams, and concrete columns in accordance with the engineering studies and following the prescribed engineering standards for iron intersections and tying. Our company’s engineer and the organization’s supervisor engineer oversaw the process, ensuring the inspection of the iron prior to concrete pouring. The pouring of the required concrete caliber took place under suitable weather conditions, with a committee of engineers and technicians present to oversee the operation. The same approach was employed for the roof of the annex. The construction and finishing works encompassed the classrooms and corridors, involving the construction of blocks, tiling, wall painting with expressive drawings, floor tiling, installation of windows with protective measures, and the setup of classroom and exterior doors. Finally, a stucco finish was applied to the external walls of the annex, with the choice of colors determined by the supervising committee.

2-Maintenance of the Existing Block:

The existing paint in the classrooms and corridors was removed, and a fresh coat of paint was applied, accompanied by expressive drawings. Maintenance activities were carried out on the chimneys, including cleaning and repairs. The doors, windows, external doors, protective measures, and floor tiles were painted. Both the internal and external stairs were renovated, and a stucco finish was applied to the external walls of the building, with the colors selected by the supervising committee.

3-External School Fence:

The external fence received a stucco finish, the external door was painted, and repairs were conducted on the external staircase of the school.

Upon the completion of the project, a handover was conducted in the presence of a committee comprising specialists in the field.

Rehabilitation of an Underground Tank at Al-Jarniya Station

Hamza Abbas Company, our esteemed company, has successfully undertaken a contract with a humanitarian organization for the rehabilitation of an underground tank at Al-Jarniya Station in Raqqa Governorate, Syria. The project was executed on 23/5/2023, adhering to the required technical specifications, allocated budget, and high-quality standards. Our dedicated team of skilled workers, technicians, and engineers accomplished the following tasks:

1. Excavation of the designated tank site to the necessary depth.

2. Pouring of high-quality concrete, meeting the specified mix requirements and cleanliness standards.

3. Reinforcement of the tank floor with durable concrete, following the detailed structural plan and utilizing the specified concrete mix.

4. Precise casting of reinforced concrete for the walls, columns, and beams, in accordance with the approved structural drawings. Our team of civil engineers, along with the organization’s engineers, meticulously supervised the process, ensuring the proper placement and compliance of the reinforcement with the structural plan before concrete pouring.

5. Expert implementation of reinforced concrete casting for the roof slab, precisely following the structural plan. A committee composed of engineers and technicians diligently ensured the correct concrete mix and reinforcement ratios, while maintaining the highest engineering standards for steel bar arrangement and anchoring.

6. Installation of robust iron stairs and metal covers, carefully chosen with the required thickness and weight, guaranteeing durability and safety.

7. Thorough external surface insulation of the tank to safeguard it against external factors and enhance ist longevity.

8. Skillful installation of ventilation pipes to ensure proper airflow and functionality.

Upon completion of the project, we handed it over within the agreed timeframe. A dedicated committee was formed to conduct a comprehensive inspection, verifying the completion of all contractually obligated works, ensuring their alignment with the technical specifications, and confirming the exceptional quality achieved through our diligent efforts.
